Although you can use the following chart as a dosage guideline, you may need to adjust your dosage until you achieve a result that works best for you. We strongly suggest keeping a diary in order to monitor your dosage. You should note your daily dosage (quantity and frequency) and how you are feeling. It is a good idea to start doing this before starting with CBD oil so that you can get a better idea about what the oil is doing for you.
Your body weight, ailment, body chemistry and natural tolerances all play a role in finding the right dose for you. As is common we have created three dosage charts of: Micro, Standard and Macro dosages. Each chart includes a dosage range.
Start by micro dosing and work your way up to a specific dosage that works for you. This process can be confusing but we can easily advise you.
Our CBD 800 is delivered sublingually. This means the oil should be kept in your mouth (under the tongue) for 1-2 minutes before you swallow. This way the CBD enters the bloodstream through the mucous membranes instead of the stomach, (where the acids would break it apart). Oil infusions like ours take around 40-75 minutes for the effects to be felt. The oil is best taken 30 minutes before a meal.
Our dosages are recommended in drops. Each drop of CBD 800 contains more than 3mg of CBD. There are 240 drops in each 10 ml bottle.
Dosage ranges:
Micro doses - low level (0.5mg-30mg per day)
- Used for sleep, nausea, stress, metabolic disorders , PTSD, headache
- Child doses
Standard doses – 10mg-100mg per day
- Pain, inflammation, anxiety, depression, autoimmune disorders, arthritis, IBS, fibromyalgia
Macro doses – 50mg-800mg per day
- Epilepsy, seizure disorders and extreme conditions
Below you will see our three dosage charts. Select the chart suitable for you (Micro, Standard, Macro) - then find your body weight, reading across the row to see the recommended number if drops per day. These reflect the total dose per day. So, if you are taking three doses per day, you would need to divide the suggested dose by three.
EXAMPLE 1:
Ailment: Stress and lack of sleep
Weight: 59kg
Starting Dose: 2 drops per day (so 1 drop, twice per day), you would then work your way up the dosage range finding what works for you.
EXAMPLE 2:
Ailment: Pain and inflamation
Weight: 64kg
Starting Dose: 7 drops per day (you could take 4 drops in the morning and 3 drops in the evening), you would then work your way up the dosage range finding what works for you.
It is recommended that you start with the lowest range and work up from there. Depending on your reaction you can move upwards within 2-4 days. Should you encounter any unpleasant reactions, go back to the previous dose.
This is a guideline only and you do not need to go all the way to range 4, it is possible that range 1 works for you. It is recommended that you give it some time when finding your minimum dose.
