Buchu Tea is delicious and good for you!
Buchu is used worldwide as blackcurrant flavouring.
Some people combine Buchu tea with Rooibos but we like it plain.
We harvest our Organic Certified Buchu (Agathosma betulina) Leaves and let them dry for 24 hours before packaging. The leaves are picked green and are not fermented or treated in any way.
The Khoisan used to chew buchu leaves, but brewing a tea is our recommendation.
The first human clinical trial was conducted in 2002 and “It was shown that the oil inhibits both the acute and chronic inflammatory responses.”
